About us

On Saturday, November 15th Leesville Road High School’s DECA chapter, in association with Saving Grace Animals for Adoption, will hold the Second Annual Saving Grace Walk against Animal Abuse.  The event will consist of a 2 ½ mile walk around Lake Lynn, and a silent auction.  One hundred percent of the profits from the walk go directly to Saving Grace Animals for Adoption.

Saving Grace is a non-profit, 501-C3 organization dedicated to helping homeless animals in our community find permanent, loving homes where they will be treated as family members for the rest of their lives. Saving Grace has made over 5,500 trips to rural shelters to rescue and give hope to dogs that might otherwise have been euthanized. This wonderful organization also helps to stop puppy mills throughout North Carolina. Puppy Mills force dogs of all kinds to breed litter after litter in appalling conditions. Dogs in Puppy Mills can be found in exceptionally congested areas lying in their own waste, starving, ill, and infected with parasites. Saving Grace is working hard to save the lives of dogs everywhere and help those animals who seemed to have no future, find the perfect home.

The goal of this walk is to raise awareness and financial support Saving Grace Animals for Adoption, so that they can continue to carry out their mission and make a difference in our community. In order for this to happen we need your help! By attending this walk you will help us reach our goal, and help Saving Grace continue to save dog’s lives in our community. You will also receive an exclusive Saving Grace Walk T-shirt.
